What to do with your leftover Easter chocolate

Lets face it it’s probably unlikely we have left over Easter eggs but you may have gone crazy and bought a ton of Easter eggs in the sale after Easter. That’s ok don’t feel bad or ashamed we all like a good deal and chocolate.

One of my favourite things to make using leftover chocolate is cookies with broken up Easter eggs inside instead of chocolate chips. Here’s a link to a cookie recipe, just remember to add your Easter chocolate instead of chocolate chips. Cookie Recipe.

As well as cookies I also like to use the leftover chocolate as a garnish for my brownies or cupcakes. You could even use your creme eggs in a brownie and top it off with mini eggs on top of some chocolate icing using melted chocolate Easter eggs. I’ll add a basic brownie recipe here. Basic Brownie Recipe.  I have also found a couple of Easter brownies you could use for some inspiration for your brownies. Easter Brownies 1 and Easter Brownies 2.

You could use your leftover chocolate spice up any normal baked goods recipe that I haven’t mentioned such as; cake, Cheesecake, Fridge cake, Tiffins, Rocky road, caramel shortcake, nest cakes, and many many more. Anything you can think of experiment with your baking. You could even make Easter bark. Happy belated Easter and enjoy your baking.
