Road trip snacks

I’m going on a trip with my friends at the weekend. Here are some good ideas for road trip snacks.

I would always suggest packets of crisps as they’re quick and easy but if you want a healthier alternative maybe try vegetable crisps or apple crisps.

Trail mix is another popular choice for a road trip snack for a fun alternative you could add rolos or other chocolate that you want to. Also if you want the trail mix to be healthier maybe try unsalted nuts and take out the chocolate. You could use almonds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, or any other nut. Then add dried fruits such as raisins, banana chips, cranberries, or any other kind of dried fruit you like. If you want to add something sweet to your trail mix maybe add dark chocolate chips.

Easy to eat fruits are good as well such as; bananas, apples, grapes, oranges, blueberries, and other various fruits. You could also have carrot batons which are easy to eat and handy. Juice or water are good additions for road trip snacks.

Cake bars are nice and as they are individually wrapped which makes it easier to store.
